TWO STEPS AWAY

TWO STEPS AWAY

Villa Gaviel overlooks the incredible Tavolara Marine Protected Area and has direct access to this stretch of sea.

The villa is located on an isthmus that allows you to always experience the best weather and windy conditions. The location is unique for walking to some beautiful coves frequented mainly by the villas in the area.

Try a different beach every day, follow the trails immersed in nature, and always in a few minutes, you will have the opportunity to reach some well-known and unspoiled clearings with a thousand shades of blue.
A taste?

Fisherman’s Beach

Adorable cove reachable on foot through a convenient path and mainly frequented by guests of nearby villas: it combines your desire for fine sand with the dream of a swim around the small islet, ideal also for your snorkeling amidst a palette of colors and various forms of rocks.

Beach of the Three Sisters

A short walk immersed in nature, and in front of you will appear an incredible cove, perhaps even more beautiful than the Caribbean ones: Sas Enas Appara, a beach better known by locals as the Beach of the Three Sisters.
This gem consists of three small sandy coves fused into one, hence the name “Beach of the 3 sisters,” all beautiful although different, just as sisters often are, and as nature surely is.
Very fine sand, shallow sandy bottoms that gently slope, especially in the shallows, and the typical rocks of this part of the coast. Between one beach and another, a small pool nestled among the rocks and a small islet that slopes towards the center of the bay where, with your mask, you may spot some fish near the submerged rocks. Behind you, hectares of Mediterranean scrub, and in front, where the sea turns into a warmer blue, the island of Tavolara.
An idyllic landscape that you might want to experience again, perhaps at sunset for an aperitif: but you’ll have to bring everything yourself, here it’s nature that sets its rules, there’s no beach bar

Doctor’s Beach

A true explosion of nature, reachable on foot from the Villa.
A small cove with very fine sand and where the sea water is a expanse of various shades of turquoise framed by granite rocks, typical of Sardinia. Shallow sandy bottoms gently sloping.
But if you can, don’t miss wandering on the rocks, you’ll find tiny pools with warm water, and if that’s not enough, at the end of the bay, you’ll feel like you can almost touch the island of Tavolara. During your little hike, you could also bring your mask and “immerse” yourself on the small sandbar right at the exit from the bay but be careful not to stray too far from the coast, who knows, you might see some colorful little fish.
Remember, you can always arrive by sea as well. With a rented boat or with a SUP or kayak: in any case, you won’t forget such a wonder!

Porto Istana Beach

A dream beach with very fine sand where the sea merges with the sky in a myriad of shades of blue.
In reality, it consists of 4 long coves separated by some typical rocks of the area. And of course, in the background, the majestic and beautiful island of Tavolara rises.
Stop by the beach kiosk for your sandwich, ice cream, or aperitif, maybe after enjoying the breeze and the numerous islets and coves of the Marine Protected Area with your rental boat available on the beach. But remember, don’t forget to book your boat.
If you prefer to arrive by car, I recommend paid parking, otherwise you risk fines…
Near the beach, the bus no. 5 also departs, with which you can reach the small shopping oasis in Murta Maria, or even the town of Olbia, or if you prefer, it goes all the way to the delightful Porto Rotondo.
